CWF (Christian Women's Fellowship)
CWF (Christian Women’s Fellowship) provides opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education,
outreach and creative ministries for women to become personally involved in the whole mission of the
Church of Jesus Christ. CWF members participate in a variety of mission projects throughout the year.
All women are invited and welcomed to be part of this ministry. This group meets the second Tuesday of
each month. Johnetta Gibson is president of this active CWF group.
For one their their service projects, CWF members hosts Christmas & Valentine's parties with food, games and prizes for residents at the Waynesburg Manor personal care home. A few years ago, a couple of FCC members who were participating in the Community Day of Caring were assigned to a service project at Waynesburg Manor. To their surprise, they realized that Betty Cooke, who had grown up in FCC, was a resident there. After a joyful reunion with Betty, these compassionate Christian women in CWF committed to continued fellowship and loving support of Betty and the other residents in this small facility.
