Boy Scout Troop 326

Troop 326 was originally chartered by the First Christian Church of Danville in 1921 as Troop 26.  For unknown reasons, the charter lapsed in 1964; however the Troop was granted a new charter in 1965 and was registered as Troop 326.

Currently, there are 10 adult leaders and 8 Boy Scouts.  Troop 326 has witnessed 63 Scouts earn the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in Boy Scouts.

Much of the program revolves around outdoor activities which includes a solid merit badge and advancement program for boys ages 11 through 18. Troop 326 is also active in participating in several service projects in the Danville-Boyle County area.  Some of the current community leaders participated in the Boy Scout program and were members of Troop 326, either as a Scout or as a leader and in some instances both.
